Hello There Folks

As a Mechanic, there are times we have to take one on the chin because a customer gets very upset about a price to fix an item on their Vehicle. We as Automotive mechanics/technicians need to be understood that we did not build the vehicle, own the vehicle or get the pleasure of driving it. We are here to Help YOU the motoring public feel safe when driving and to maintain it to keep it in working order.

When a problem starts creeping up or that pesky gas cap light (The Check Engine Light) comes on folks, stop and think why it is on. The Manufacturer doesn't spend the time and money to just put that in your Vehicle to make you spend money. They are a "Warning Device" to help you from driving up the repair costs.

Another fine idea that the Manufacturers came up with is an Owners Manual. While you are sitting on the side of the road waiting on Assistance to arrive, perhaps that would be a great time to break it out, unwrap it and see if there is something in it to help you with your problem.

All of us here at Luke's Automotive feel the same pain you do when fixing or repairing cars including our own. We feel for you the customer as well. WE do not like to make those big dollar calls. WE do want to help you with your troubles, just please, don't take them out on Us or any other Mechanics out there.
